    RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has secured the highest international rating within the 2025 Worldwide Telecommunication Union (ITU) ICT Growth Index, which assesses the digital progress of 164 nations throughout common and efficient connectivity.

    The Communications, Area and Know-how Fee (CST) confirmed the Kingdom’s main place, crediting it to sustained nationwide efforts in strengthening competitiveness and driving sustainable development within the ICT sector.

    The CST highlighted that Saudi Arabia’s superior digital infrastructure has been instrumental in enabling the enlargement of its digital financial system, which reached SR459 billion in 2024, contributing 15% to the gross home product (GDP).

    The Kingdom’s ICT market, valued at SR180 billion in 2024, is the most important and quickest rising within the Center East and North Africa.

    The nation additionally recorded a cell subscription penetration charge of 212% and month-to-month information utilization per consumer 3 times increased than the worldwide common.
