    Saudi municipalities crack down on unlicensed housing subdivisions

    RIYADH — The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing has affirmed that municipal authorities throughout Saudi Arabia are persevering with efforts to detect and handle violations associated to the unauthorized subdivision of residential properties meant for funding.

    The ministry emphasised its dedication to curbing irregular practices that bypass authorized municipal permits, citing their unfavourable affect on city high quality of life and neighborhood integrity.

    In an announcement issued Monday, the ministry recognized key violations akin to subdividing housing items into smaller areas, including inner doorways, and modifying exits via constructing setbacks all with out the required licenses.
