    Several expatriates arrested in Riyadh for stealing electrical cables from schools and other facilities

    RIYADH — Safety authorities in Riyadh arrested a bunch of expatriates for stealing electrical cables from faculties and private and non-private amenities within the capital metropolis. It was discovered that that they had saved the stolen cables in unlawful warehouses and yards, and used to resell them by means of stores.

    The Public Safety introduced by way of its X social media account that the suspects had been referred to the Public Prosecution after taking the mandatory authorized motion.

    It’s noteworthy that the Riyadh Training Division has notified about 51 faculties within the capital metropolis that they might quickly change over in-person courses to distant studying till Thursday, after electrical cables had been discovered stolen from their faculty buildings.

    In a letter addressed to the principals of those faculties, a replica of which was obtained by Okaz, the Ministry of Training said that distant studying will proceed till the completion of upkeep work at these faculties. Mother and father of scholars obtained notifications concerning the choice to change over to distant studying till the faculties are totally repaired and lecture rooms are reopened.
