TURNBERRY, Scotland (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Sunday Israel must decide on subsequent steps in Gaza, including that he didn’t know what would occur after strikes by Israel to tug out of ceasefire and hostage-release negotiations with the Hamas militant group.
Trump underscored the significance of securing the discharge of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, saying that they had out of the blue “hardened” up on the problem.
“They do not wish to give them again, and so Israel goes to need to decide,” Trump advised reporters initially of a gathering with European Fee President Ursula von der Leyen at his golf property in Turnberry, Scotland.
