    UAE Launches Global Youth Dialogue to Shape the Future of Sustainable Development Beyond 2030

    As a part of the UAE delegation’s participation within the United Nations Sustainable Improvement Discussion board 2025, organized by the UN Division of Financial and Social Affairs, the Basic Secretariat of the Nationwide Committee for Sustainable Improvement Objectives (SDGs) hosted a devoted youth session titled Voices for 2045: Youth Shaping the Future. Held on the Everlasting Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations, the session introduced collectively youth leaders and international change-makers, together with members of the UN Basic Meeting’s Main Group for Youngsters and Youth.

    The session engaged younger contributors in envisioning the world past 2030 and empowered them to form the way forward for sustainable growth. HE Lootah added, “Shaping the imaginative and prescient of the post-2030 sustainable growth agenda requires open dialogue, collective participation, and daring concepts that hold tempo with international modifications. It isn’t sufficient to hearken to youth as inspirational voices; their visions have to be handled as important inputs in policy-making and prioritization.”

    Three Predominant Themes

    40 contributors from the UN Main Group for Youngsters and Youth contributed various views on the formidable XDGs 2045 imaginative and prescient. Discussions targeted on three core themes – empathy, ardour, and motion – underscoring the position of youth in constructing a greater future.

    Contributors responded to 3 key questions by way of an internet survey, providing insights on their motivations, desired transformative modifications, challenges confronted, and proposed options to reinforce youth contributions to sustainable growth. Their responses underscored key priorities together with empowering youth and making certain their lively involvement in coverage and technique growth; strengthening worldwide cooperation and selling innovation; guaranteeing common entry to high quality training and healthcare; and safeguarding the atmosphere and pure assets for future generations.

    The session Voices for 2045: Youth Shaping the Future displays the UAE’s dedication to supporting international efforts to attain the SDGs and to enhancing the position of youth as key companions within the growth of a extra inclusive and sustainable world by 2045.

    The United Nations Excessive-Degree Political Discussion board

    The United Nations Excessive-Degree Political Discussion board on Sustainable Improvement (HLPF) is the UN’s most important platform for sustainable growth issues. Since its institution in 2012, it has performed a central position in monitoring and reviewing nations’ progress towards implementing the 2030 Sustainable Improvement Agenda.
