    UAE to face Qatar, Oman in World Cup qualifiers – Sports – FootBall

    The United Arab Emirates have been drawn to tackle Qatar and Oman within the fourth section of Asia’s preliminaries for the 2026 World Cup on Thursday.

    The winners of every of the three-team teams, which might be performed in October, will be a part of already-qualified Australia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Uzbekistan, Iran and Jordan at subsequent 12 months’s expanded 48-nation finals in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

    Saudi Arabia will host Group A and open towards Indonesia on eighth October.

    Indonesia will then play Graham Arnold’s Iraq on eleventh October earlier than the Saudis and Iraq face off on 14th October.

    Group B hosts Qatar, organisers of the 2022 World Cup, will tackle Oman of their first recreation on eighth October. UAE will face Oman on eleventh October, with Qatar and the UAE assembly on 14th October.

    The nations ending in second place in every group will advance to an extra spherical of qualifying, which might be held over two legs in November on a home-and-away foundation.
