    UAE travel update: Emirates announces flight cancellations

    UAE air journey disruption is ready to proceed as Dubai service Emirates has revealed an extension to flight suspension within the area.

    Though Emirates confirmed it is going to resume flights to Iraq from Tuesday, it stated Iran flights face additional suspensions.

    A journey advisory revealed Iran and Iraq flights will resume:

    • Tehran, Iran: After July 5
    • Baghdad, Iraq: July 1
    • Basra, Iraq: July2

    Emirates UAE-Iran flight suspension

    In a statement, Emirates said: “As a result of regional state of affairs, Emirates has cancelled all of the flights to/from Tehran till and together with July 5, 2025.

    “Clients connecting via Dubai with last locations in Iran is not going to be accepted for journey at their level of origin till additional discover. Clients impacted by flight cancellations should contact their journey company for rebooking. If booked straight with Emirates, please contact us.

    “Operations to Baghdad will recommence on Tuesday July 1, 2025 and Basra on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Clients connecting via Dubai to Iraq shall be accepted for journey at their level of origin.

    “We apologise for any inconvenience prompted to our clients. We proceed to intently monitor developments. The protection of our passengers, workers and operations will all the time be our high precedence”.

    Basra – Dubai Till July 1, 2025 July 2, 2025 Flights recommence on July 2; Dubai connections to Iraq accepted.
