    LONDON (Reuters) -Greater than 50 folks protesting in opposition to Britain’s resolution to ban the Palestine Motion group have been arrested exterior parliament on Saturday, London’s Metropolitan Police mentioned.

    Officers made arrests after crowds, waving placards expressing assist for the group, gathered in Parliament Sq., the power mentioned on X.

    In July, British lawmakers banned Palestine Motion beneath anti-terrorism laws after a few of its members broke right into a Royal Air Pressure base and broken planes in protest in opposition to Britain’s assist for Israel.

    The ban makes it against the law to be a member of the group, carrying a most sentence of 14 years in jail.

    The co-founder of Palestine Motion, Huda Ammori, final week received a bid to carry a authorized problem in opposition to the ban.
