    1,900 retreaded tires sold as new seized during raid on warehouse

    The Ministry of Commerce and Trade raided a warehouse concerned in retreading used tires and promoting them as new.

    In response to ministry sources over 1,900 dangerously refurbished tires that don’t meet security and technical requirements have been seized. This blatant act of business fraud posed a severe threat to public security.

    The Al-Anba every day mentioned, emergency inspection groups raided the unlawful facility following thorough investigations, took swift motion, and referred the case to the authorities for authorized proceedings and penalties.

    The Ministry burdened its zero-tolerance coverage towards any actions that compromise shopper security and referred to as on the general public to buy tires from trusted sources and report suspicious exercise.
