H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has arrived within the Republic of Korea, to attend the Asia-Pacific Financial Cooperation (APEC) Discussion board on behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The UAE’s participation on the discussion board follows an invite from Lee Jae-myung, President of the Republic of Korea, as a part of efforts to help financial cooperation amongst APEC economies and discover alternatives to broaden strategic partnerships throughout key sectors.

The APEC Discussion board, established in 1989, brings collectively leaders and heads of presidency from its 21 member economies to advertise regional financial integration by advancing free commerce, encouraging funding and reaching sustainable growth goals. APEC members characterize roughly 40 % of the world’s inhabitants and about 60 % of worldwide GDP, establishing the discussion board as an important platform for regional cooperation in tackling world financial challenges.
