BRUSSELS (Reuters) -EU international coverage chief Kaja Kallas stated on Wednesday the leaders of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea – who appeared collectively at a navy parade in Beijing – represented an “autocratic alliance” difficult the rules-based worldwide order.

“Whereas Western leaders collect in diplomacy, an autocratic alliance is looking for a quick monitor to a brand new world order,” Kallas, the European Union’s excessive consultant for international and safety coverage, advised reporters in Brussels.

” President Xi standing alongside the leaders of Russia, Iran, (and) North Korea in Beijing immediately, these aren’t simply anti-Western optics: It is a direct problem to the worldwide system constructed on guidelines.”
