    RIYADH — The Ministry of Inside, via the Common Directorate of Visitors, mentioned work is underway to amend Article 74 of the Visitors Legislation’s govt rules in coordination with related authorities.

    The royal decree No. (M/50), issued on 2/3/1447 AH, accepted amendments to Article 74, which addresses violations that endanger public security.

    In keeping with the modification revealed Friday within the official gazette Umm Al-Qura, the Ministry of Inside has the authority to deport non-Saudis if a final court ruling convicts them of committing traffic violations that threaten public safety.

    Deported people may also be barred from reentering the Kingdom, underneath rules coordinated with the Ministry of Overseas Affairs, Ministry of Justice, and Public Prosecution.

    The chief rules will specify which classes are exempt from deportation in instances involving overseas drivers convicted of harmful visitors violations.

    The revised Article 74 additionally states that if a violator commits a public security–endangering offense for a second time inside one yr of the primary, they are going to obtain the utmost nice.

    A 3rd violation inside the identical yr will end in referral to a reliable courtroom, which can impose a jail sentence of as much as one yr except it opts to double the nice for the second offense.

    The Ministry of Inside urged residents, residents, and guests to adjust to visitors guidelines and acknowledge the significance of highway security to guard lives and property.
