As a part of efforts to advertise the environmental and social dimensions of city dwelling, the Governor of Farwaniya, Sheikh Athbi Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, sponsored and attended a symbolic environmental initiative organized by the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat) for Kuwait and the Gulf States, in collaboration with the Affiliation of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
The occasion occurred at Khaitan Public Park within the Farwaniya Governorate.
