    BEIRUT (Reuters) -Hezbollah official Mahmoud Qmati informed Reuters on Saturday that the group thought-about Friday’s cupboard session on a military plan to ascertain a state monopoly on arms “a chance to return to knowledge and cause, stopping the nation from slipping into the unknown”.

    Lebanon’s cupboard on Friday welcomed a plan by the military that might disarm Hezbollah and mentioned the army would start executing it, with out setting a timeframe for implementation and cautioning that the military had restricted capabilities.

    It mentioned continued Israeli army operations in Lebanon would hamper the military’s progress.
