    Kuwait, and UAE’s Masdar discuss renewable energy cooperation

    KUWAIT CITY, July 1, 2025 — The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electrical energy, Water and Renewable Vitality held high-level discussions on Tuesday with Abu Dhabi Future Vitality Firm (Masdar) to discover avenues of cooperation within the area of renewable vitality.

    The assembly was led by Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Adel Al-Zamil, who acquired UAE Ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, and Masdar CEO Dr. Mohammed Jameel Al Ramahi, together with an accompanying delegation, within the presence of senior ministry officers, experiences Al-Rai day by day.

    In keeping with a press release from the Ministry, the assembly falls inside the framework of activating the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed final June with the UAE Ministry of Vitality and Infrastructure, which goals to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the 2 nations in energy-related fields.

    The MoU marks a strategic step towards Gulf integration, encouraging the change of experience, expertise switch, and the implementation of joint tasks that help sustainable growth.

    Through the assembly, either side mentioned renewable vitality collaboration, with Kuwait expressing curiosity in benefiting from the UAE’s management and innovation within the clear vitality sector.

    Masdar is acknowledged for providing cutting-edge sustainable options, contributing to:

    • The transition to wash vitality
    • Infrastructure growth
    • Vitality effectivity applied sciences
    • Innovation in future vitality methods

    The Ministry affirmed that such cooperation will help Kuwait’s strategic tasks, together with Shagaya Renewable Vitality Advanced (Section I & II) and upgrades to the nationwide electrical energy system.

    The assembly displays a rising dedication by each nations to work collectively on long-term options that deal with local weather challenges and construct resilient vitality methods for future generations.
