    Kuwait explores student exchange with top Portuguese university

    Kuwait’s Ambassador to Lisbon, Hamad Al-Hazeem, has initiated discussions with one in all Portugal’s high universities — the College of Eixample — to ascertain educational cooperation in preparation for sending Kuwaiti college students to review in Portugal.

    Chatting with Kuwait Information Company (KUNA), Al-Hazeem stated he met with Professor Maria Joao Courtinial, Vice-Chair of the Board for Worldwide Relations, and Professor Maria de Lourdes Rodrigues, Dean of the Faculty of Enterprise Administration, to discover avenues for cultural and educational trade.

    He emphasised the college’s excessive world rating, notably in specialised packages in enterprise administration, noting it’s among the many high 50 worldwide in some fields. Based 52 years in the past, the college includes 5 main schools and gives bachelor’s, grasp’s, and doctoral packages in English, making it excellent for non-Portuguese-speaking college students.

    Ambassador Al-Hazeem highlighted the establishment’s readiness to coordinate with Kuwait’s Nationwide Bureau for Tutorial Accreditation, which might pave the best way for formal scholar trade.

    Portugal, he added, gives a protected, inexpensive, and high-quality academic setting, and hosts different globally acknowledged universities corresponding to College of Lisbon (ranked 260); Nova College (ranked 327), and Católica College (ranked 351).

    Kuwait has but to accredit any Portuguese college, however Al-Hazeem expressed hope that this initiative will improve cultural ties and increase educational alternatives between the 2 nations.
