Kuwait Municipality has accomplished the demolition of 67 dilapidated properties in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh after the expiry of the grace interval granted to the house owners of those properties to vacate.
The municipality defined that, following the issuance of an administrative resolution revealed within the official gazette Kuwait Alyawm, house owners got two weeks to clear and demolish their properties.
As soon as the deadline handed, demolition proceeded beneath the direct subject supervision of the Director-Basic of Kuwait Municipality, Engineer Manal Al-Asfour, studies Al-Rai every day.
Officers acknowledged that the motion was taken as a result of hazardous situation of the buildings, lots of which have been on the threat of imminent collapse, posing hazard to lives and public security.
The municipality affirmed that the elimination of extra unsafe constructions within the space will proceed in accordance with the established schedule and in coordination with the related authorities.
