    Kuwait Oil Company launches bids for 7 major tenders worth KD 2 billion

    The Central Company for Public Tenders has opened bids for seven main tenders, primarily for the Kuwait Oil Firm, with a mixed worth of KD 2 billion, reported Al Qabas newspaper.

    The tenders embody the event of Gathering Centre 1 (SGC-1) and Water Injection Plant 1 (WIP-1), in addition to a separate mission for Gathering Centre 3 (SGC-3) and Water Injection Plant 3 (WIP-3).

    Knowledgeable sources stated these tenders spotlight the rising momentum in Kuwait’s oil sector and the federal government’s ongoing investments to boost operational effectivity and increase manufacturing and export capability, in keeping with Kuwait’s Oil Technique 2040.

    Subject improvement

    The tenders kind a part of Kuwait Oil Firm’s plan to increase oil area improvement, aiming to extend oil manufacturing capability to 4 million barrels per day by 2035 and fuel manufacturing to 1.5 trillion cubic toes per day by 2040.

    Sources confirmed that the corporate is dedicated to launching and executing all initiatives inside its improvement technique, establishing frameworks to maximise the nation’s oil and fuel reserves. These initiatives additionally mirror KOC’s built-in technique to increase capability, enhance infrastructure effectivity, and improve environmental and operational efficiency throughout Kuwait’s oil-producing areas.

    Notable firms who attended pre-bid conferences included Petrofac (UK), Saipem (Italy), Tecnicas Reunidas (Spain), Larsen & Toubro (India), Samsung, Hyundai, and Daewoo (South Korea).
