    Kuwait set to sign landmark Al-Zour North Power Plant contract Sunday

    The Kuwait Authority for Partnership Tasks (KAPP) is about to formally signal the contract for the Al-Zour North Energy Plant (Phases II and III) with the profitable bidder, the ACWA Energy consortium, which incorporates the Gulf Funding Company.

    The signing ceremony, scheduled for Sunday, will probably be attended by key authorities figures together with Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaizeem, Minister of Electrical energy, Water and Renewable Power, and the Minister of Finance, reviews Al-Rai every day.

    This crucial mission, accredited by the Audit Bureau and the Increased Committee for Partnership Tasks, will produce 2,700 megawatts of electrical energy alongside 120 million gallons of water each day.

    The development will start with a turbine part lasting roughly 30 months, adopted by a mixed cycle part of 40 months.

    Notably, the plant goals to function with emissions under worldwide limits, reflecting Kuwait’s dedication to environmental preservation.

    The electrical energy manufacturing is anticipated to begin by the second quarter of 2028, considerably bolstering the nationwide electrical energy and water provide to maintain tempo with rising demand pushed by city development and ongoing growth tasks.
