Lebanese Minister of Inside and Municipalities Ahmad Hajjar recommended the efforts of airport safety officers after 4 Turkish nationals have been arrested at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri Worldwide Airport on Friday.
The arrests have been carried out by the Airport Inspection Unit of the Inside Safety Forces’ Safety Unit for Embassies, Administrations, and Public Establishments, experiences Al-Rai day by day.
The suspects have been stopped within the VIP lounge as they ready to board a flight to Kuwait. Authorities found round 20 kilograms of Captagon tablets hidden inside belts strapped round their waists.
