    RIYADH — The Regional Heart for Mud and Sandstorms has reported a 53 % lower in mud and sandstorm exercise in Saudi Arabia between January and July 2025, in contrast with historic averages for a similar interval.

    Govt Director of the middle Jamaan Al-Qahtani stated the recorded knowledge confirmed various declines throughout the primary seven months of the 12 months.

    The drop reached 80 % in January, 40 % in February, 75 % in March, 41 % in April, 40 % in Might, 59 % in June, and 41 % in July.

    Al-Qahtani attributed the development to built-in nationwide environmental efforts, together with the Saudi Inexperienced Initiative, cloud seeding applications, vegetation enlargement initiatives, stricter grazing controls, and the function of royal reserves in ecosystem safety.

    He additionally cited optimistic climatic shifts in air mass patterns that improved air high quality and lowered mud sources.
