    Saudi Crown Prince upbeat about ceasefire opening door to regional stability, in meeting with Iranian FM

    JEDDAH — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman met with Iranian Minister of Overseas Affairs Dr. Abbas Araghchi and his accompanying delegation at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Tuesday.

    Throughout the assembly, Araghchi thanked Saudi Arabia for its place in condemning the Israeli aggression. The Iranian minister appreciated the Crown Prince’s efforts to reinforce safety and stability within the area.

    The 2 leaders reviewed bilateral relations between the 2 nations. In addition they mentioned the most recent regional developments and the efforts being made to handle them.

    The Crown Prince expressed Saudi Arabia’s hope that the ceasefire settlement would contribute to creating the circumstances for enhancing safety and stability within the area. He reaffirmed the Kingdom’s place in supporting dialogue via diplomatic means as a way of settling disputes.

    The assembly was attended by Saudi Minister of Protection Prince Khalid bin Salman; Minister of Overseas Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan; and Minister of State, Member of the Cupboard, and Nationwide Safety Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban.
