RIYADH — The King Abdulaziz Metropolis for Science and Expertise (KACST) has introduced the design and manufacturing of 25 superior digital chips by Saudi engineers and researchers, in a serious leap for Saudi Arabia’s semiconductor ambitions.
Developed at KACST’s Cleanroom Lab, the chips mark a strategic milestone in constructing a sustainable and self-reliant nationwide ecosystem for rising applied sciences.
The chips, produced below the Semiconductor Specialization Program (SSP), are designed for numerous purposes in sensors, built-in circuits, photonics, and micro-electro-mechanical programs (MEMS).
These parts play a significant position in driving analysis and improvement throughout frontier applied sciences together with the Web of Issues (IoT) and electrical autos.
