    Tawazun signs total 27 deals worth $6.65bn during Dubai Air Show

    Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement (Tawazun), the nationwide authority mandated to allow, regulate, and maintain the UAE’s defence and safety industrial ecosystem, signed 27 native and worldwide contracts on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and Abu Dhabi Police valued at AED24.443 billion (US$6.65 billion) through the 4 days of the Dubai Airshow 2025.

    This contains seven new contracts on behalf of the Ministry of Defence through the ultimate day on Friday, with a complete worth of AED6.427 billion (US$1.75 billion).

    The announcement was made throughout a press convention attended by Abdulla Ahmed Al Saeedi and Manea Abdulkarim Al Mansoori, the official spokespersons of the Council.

    Official spokesperson of the council, Abdulla Ahmed Al Saeedi, stated 4 of the native contracts signed on Friday included one with Abu Dhabi-based Calidus to acquire and provide Al Heda missile launch system price AED6.142 billion (US$1.67 billion).

    Amongst different contracts are one with Worldwide Golden Group (IGG) to acquire drones valued at AED57.858 million (US$15.75 million); a contract with Abu Dhabi Autonomous Techniques Investments (ADASI) to acquire radars for AED37.684 million (US$10 million), and one other with Supreme Skilled Providers to supply follow-on help, spare elements and upkeep of radars, price AED20 million (US$5.45 million).

    Worldwide contracts signed on the final day included three offers – all with French firms – price AED169.616 million (US$46.2 million). This included a contract with Thales to acquire thermal weapon sights valued at AED75.966 million (US$20.7 million); an AED32.24 million (US$8.8 million) contract with CS Group for the acquisition of programs, and with MBDA for follow-on help, spare elements restore for MICA, Black Shaheen and Mistral, price AED61.41 million (US$16.7 million).

    Tawazun spokesperson Manea Abdulkarim Al Mansoori stated that the outcomes achieved through the first 4 days of the Dubai Airshow mirror the UAE’s imaginative and prescient of growing an built-in, modern, and strategically pushed defence and safety sector. He added that Tawazun continues to foster a aggressive and enabling surroundings for the personal sector.
