    UAE Flag Day 2025: A Symbol of Unity, Pride, and Patriotism

    The UAE will have a good time Flag Day 2025 on Monday, November 3, marking 13 years because the nationwide event was first noticed. Whereas it’s not a public vacation, the day serves as a strong reminder of nationwide unity with Emiratis and residents alike elevating the UAE flag throughout workplaces, faculties, and public areas in a shared show of delight and patriotism.

    The UAE flag was first hoisted by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan on December 2, 1971, to mark the formation of the Union a historic second that continues to encourage generations.

    Forward of the celebration, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, urged all ministries, establishments, and residents to boost the nationwide flag concurrently at 11am on November 3.

    “On November 3, we have a good time UAE Flag Day an annual event to resume our pledge, reaffirm our loyalty, and specific our love for our nation’s flag, the image of our sovereignty and the logo of our Union,” Sheikh Mohammed stated on his official social media account.

    He added:

    “We name upon all Emiratis, residents, and establishments throughout the nation to boost the UAE flag at 11am as a gesture of unity and solidarity — a mirrored image of our shared values of patriotism, belonging, and devotion to our nation and management. Could the UAE flag perpetually fly excessive in glory.”

    The Story Behind the Flag

    The UAE flag, designed in 1971 by a younger Emirati, Abdullah Mohammad Al Maainah, was chosen from over 1,000 submissions in a nationwide competitors. Al Maainah would later function Minister of International Affairs, perpetually linking his title to one of many nation’s most enduring symbols.

    What the Colors Signify

    • Crimson: Symbolises braveness, energy, and unity, binding all different meanings collectively. 
    • Inexperienced: Represents hope, prosperity, and progress. 
    • White: Stands for peace, honesty, and purity. 
    • Black: Signifies the defeat of enemies and resilience of spirit not oil, as usually misunderstood. 

    Because the flag rises throughout the nation on November 3, it would as soon as once more function a timeless reminder of the UAE’s unity, management, and enduring imaginative and prescient for the long run.
