    Ukrainian officials discuss peace options in Riyadh, will head to Switzerland, New York

    KYIV (Reuters) -The Ukrainian president’s chief of employees, Andriy Yermak, mentioned on Wednesday he was in Riyadh together with safety council chief Rustem Umerov forward of talks later within the week with U.S. administration officers in New York.

    Yermak, writing on the Telegram messaging app, mentioned the talks in Riyadh targeted on paths to peace in Ukraine, and Saudi Arabia’s participation on this course of. Yermak mentioned they met the Saudi defence minister and nationwide safety adviser.

    Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, talking later in his nightly video deal with, mentioned the delegation would maintain talks on Thursday in Switzerland. They’d go on to New York on Friday for talks with U.S. administration officers.

    U.S. particular envoy Steve Witkoff mentioned on Tuesday that he would meet representatives from Ukraine in New York this week whereas saying that Washington continues to speak with Russia.

    Zelenskiy mentioned on Tuesday that Turkey, the Gulf states or European international locations might host talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
