    Dubai announces new rules to boost tourist transport

    The regulation was enacted below Administrative Resolution No. (97) of 2025, pursuant to Government Council Decision No. (107) of 2023, which regulates vacationer transport in Dubai.

    The brand new regulation goals to create an built-in vacationer transport system that strengthens Dubai’s place as a number one native and worldwide vacation spot.

    It focuses on enhancing service high quality, elevating security and luxury requirements, and guaranteeing the sector aligns with international greatest practices.

    RTA stated the transfer displays Dubai’s ongoing dedication to advancing tourism and transport companies to offer a premium, protected journey expertise for guests and reaffirm the emirate’s standing as a worldwide tourism capital.

    The regulation introduces measures to boost service requirements and enhance the general vacationer expertise, creating advantages for corporations and establishments working within the sector.

    RTA’s function will embody:

    • Issuing and renewing permits for vacationer transport institutions
    • Registering and renewing vacationer autos
    • Granting skilled licences for vacationer transport drivers

    All purposes will likely be processed by means of RTA’s permitted service channels and centres, guaranteeing full compliance with regulatory and supervisory necessities.

    The RTA noted that these efforts will deliver effective solutions to meet Dubai’s aspirations for its tourist transport sector. The brand new initiative helps wider strategic aims, positioning tourism transport as a key pillar of the emirate’s financial development and growth.
