    Kuwait commits to combatting AMR, promoting safe use of antibiotics

    The Kuwait Pharmaceutical Affiliation has signed the Copenhagen Declaration on Combating Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), which outlines key commitments similar to constructing partnerships, selling vaccination, making certain the rational use of antibiotics, safeguarding pharmaceutical provide chains, and strengthening evidence-based governance and healthcare outcomes, Al Jarida newspaper reported.

    The declaration was signed through the 83rd World Congress of the Worldwide Pharmaceutical Federation, held in Copenhagen beneath the theme “Advancing Pharmacy: Efficiency, Collaboration, and Well being Transformation,” with the participation of a delegation from the Kuwait Pharmaceutical Affiliation.

    The affiliation’s consultant and board member, Dr. Bader Al-Khurainj, indicated that the actions of the convention centered on accelerating the event of pharmaceutical apply and strengthening the skilled position of pharmacists worldwide.

    Al-Khurainj, a member of the Supreme Council of the Worldwide Pharmaceutical Federation, mentioned the council authorized key insurance policies on AI in pharmacy, self-care, patient-centered care, and the position of pharmacists in public well being and combating non-communicable illnesses. The council additionally elected Dr. Nadia Al Mazrouei from the United Arab Emirates as Vice President with sturdy regional help.
