    Two Gulf Nationals Sentenced to Seven Years for Forging Kuwaiti Citizenship

    The Prison Courtroom, presided over by Counselor Nasser Al-Badr, has sentenced two Gulf nationals to seven years in jail and imposed a positive of 1 million Kuwaiti dinars every, after discovering them responsible of forging Kuwaiti citizenship by falsely claiming kinship with a deceased Kuwaiti citizen.

    In line with the Public Prosecution, the defendants, of their capability as workers, illegally obtained monetary advantages and seized funds from a number of state establishments — together with the Kuwait Credit score Financial institution, the Public Authority for Manpower, and the Public Establishment for Housing Welfare — by misrepresenting themselves as Kuwaiti residents.

    Investigations revealed that the defendants cast official paperwork resembling a civil ID, nationality certificates, and passport to substantiate their false identities. These cast paperwork have been used to deceive authorities workers, who in good religion entered the fraudulent knowledge into official databases, enabling the defendants to unlawfully obtain citizen-exclusive advantages.
